About

Good Livin'

Good Livin' is a Canadian electrolyte and supplement brand, built by two founders owning everything from marketing and social to website and packaging design. With around 25 SKUs and no in-house design team, product and lifestyle photography meant booking an external photographer and waiting weeks for the results.

Challenge

Making a 50 photo asset bank work across months of content

As a two-person, founder-run team, Good Livin' handled everything in-house - marketing, social, website and packaging design between them. Product and lifestyle photography was the one thing they couldn't do themselves: sourcing a photographer, booking a shoot day, then waiting weeks for the content to come back, with a full cycle taking one to two months minimum.

That left them stretching a single shoot's worth of images - often around 50 photos - across months of content, recycling and repackaging the same shots.

Solution

From idea to immediate content output

Good Livin' started by uploading their existing product shots and PDFs into Riverflow and building new scenes around them - no fresh shoot required to generate something new and exciting. Fresh content can now be created the moment an idea comes up, rather than waiting on a shoot calendar.

Results

Faster, cheaper, and 80% more effective

Turnaround for marketing content went from months to days - named as the single biggest impact of switching to Riverflow. With photography sessions anywhere in the range of $300–$2,000 a time, the savings have added up to thousands of dollars over the course of a year.

The unexpected result, though, is conversion: when rebuilding single product photos into detailed explainer threads - covering benefits, features and how to use each product across all 25 SKUs - this drove an 80% improvement in conversion rate. The full rebuild took just two days to conceptualise and execute.
